For some people, when they think of crystal, they will think of Swarovski crystal, but Swarovski crystal are not real crystal, they are man made crystal that make out of glass, it was create in 1892 by Daniel Swarovski, whose father own a small glass factory where he become apprenties, by patented an electric cutting machine that facilitated the production of crystal glass, that is the begining of the Swarovski Crystal. It is beautiful, but it don’t have any metaphysical properties. But not all man-made crystal are made from glass.
There are some crystal come from the natural that they heated to create another type of crystal, like citrine, there heated and non heated crystal, but both have their own energy within, but still it have to depend on individual of what crystal that is calling out for them.
One of my favorite is Goldstone, it is not natural gemstone, in fact, it is made from glass and copper, depend on the color of the stone. The story goes that in Venice, Italy, when practice alchemy, they accidently drop a molted copper into the molten glass. You might not find in some of the crystal shop or even in crystal book, because not many people recognise goldstone is a gemstone, but some believe that goldstone have metaphysical gemstone properties. Thought goldstone are partially made from glass, there are still copper which are added into it, which create a energy within it. Goldstone is associated with good luck, abundance, use in games of change as well as divination or fortune telling. It is help you feel positive and confidence.
There are some gemstones that might consider man made, like citrine, it might have been heated to create the light golden color or it might even be heated amethyst. The color of the natural citrine is actually light brown or yellow. The heated Citrine or Amethyst are mostly golden yellow with some white color at the bottom or surround the yellow. Never the less, whether it is natural or heated citrine, they still have the same metaphysical energy within, it is just how strong it can be.
Natural Crystal came from the earth, it come in different shape and size, some of which is raw, some of which have made into tumble stone, sphere of different size or figure. They also come in different grade, the best is AA, which is very expensive, to the low grade.
No matter what type of crystal there are in the market, I do believe that is crystal who chose us, not we choose the crystal, sometime you might be browsing through the crystal in the shop, yet you are draw toward a certain crystal as if it calling to you, it is natural, you should hold the crystal and feel the energy and if you don’t know what is the crystal call, you can ask the shop keeper and check, most probably that is the crystal that you need work on the issue that you are currently facing.
